Server Settings window will now open.

8. Under the Microsoft Exchange Server field, type the following:
exchange.iaspire.net.sg.
9. Ensure that the Use Cached Exchange Mode
option is selected. There should be a tick on the check box.
10. Under the User Name field, type your
user logon name as provided. Normally it will be your email
address (i.e. jack@iaspire.net.sg)
11. Click the More Setting button. At this
point of time, if you are prompted to Authenticate, just click
Cancel. If you are prompted with an ‘unavailable
connection’ message, just close the windows and proceed
to click the More Setting button.
Ensure that you see the following screen.

12. Select the Security Tab. Under User
Identification, ensure that the Always prompt
for user name and password checkbox is checked.

13. Click the Connection Tab. Ensure that
you are able to view the Exchange over the Internet

Windows XP RPC patch as documented in the earlier sections.
Check the Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP
checkbox and click the Exchange Proxy Setting.. button.

14. In the Exchange Proxy Settings window,
configure as the following screen.

msstd:exchange.iaspire.net.sg |
| proxy authentication settings |

To force your connection to only use HTTPS, ensure that you
check both the following check boxes.

If you have both TCP/IP and HTTPS connection, then select
the appropriate check box to which it is most suitable to
your network connection speed.
Click OK twice to go back to the Exchange
Server Settings window.
15. Click the Check Name button. The Authentication
window will now open.

16. You will need to use the pre-Windows 2000 Logon name
instead of the normal login name. This is a pre-requisite
for RPC over HTTPS. Your pre-Windows 2000 logon name will
be something like ‘IASPIRE\iaspire.jack’ (<DOMAIN>\<Company>.<UserID>)
17. Ensure that the server name and your User Name (First
Name & Last Name) has been underlined. This indicates
a successful authentication.

18. Click the Next button. The successful
window will now open. Click Finish to complete
the setup.

19. If you have more than 1 profile, you may want Outlook
to prompt you for a profile before launching. Ensure that
you select the Prompt for profile to be used option.
You can now close the Mail window by clicking
OK.
