Up Mail Profile

Prior to using Outlook 2003, a mail profile needs to be created.
Mail Setup
1. Access your Control Panel and
click on Mail.

2. The Mail setup window will
be opened. Click on the Show Profiles button
to display the profiles that has been setup in your PC. We
will create a new profile for iASPire Hosted Exchange.

3. Click on the Show
Profiles button. The Mail window.

4. Click the Add
button to create a new profile. Name your profile with something
descriptive.

5. Click OK.
The Email Accounts creation wizard will appear.

6. Ensure that the Add
a new e-mail account option is selected and click
Next. The Server Type window
will open.

7. Ensure that the Microsoft
Exchange Server option is selected and click Next.
The Exchange Server Settings window will
now open.

8. Under the Microsoft Exchange
Server field, type the following : smtp.iaspire.net.sg.
9. Ensure that the Use Cached Exchange Mode
option is selected. There should be a tick on the check box.
10. Under the User Name field, type your
user logon name as given. Normally it will be in the form
of user@organization (e.g. enquiries@ezlink).
11. Click the Check Name button. The Authentication
window will now open. Type in your user logon name and password
and click OK.

12. Ensure that the server name
and your User Name (First Name & Last Name) has been underlined.
This indicates a successful authentication.

13. Click the Next
button. The successful window will now open. Click Finish
to complete the setup.

14. If you have more than 1 profile,
you may want Outlook to prompt you for a profile before launching.
Ensure that you select the Prompt for profile to be
used option. You can now close the Mail
window by clicking OK.
